This lab explored experimental ways of being in ethnographic spaces. Using hands-on, transdisciplinary methods including camera-less photography and foraging, it explored how non-representational experimental photography could rework methods of constructing, experiencing, and tracing ethnographic spaces.

This project designed and planted the United states first photographic garden. this is a garden space that grows plants useful as darkroom resources, to generate plant-based photo-chemistries and plant species that remediate heavy metals from darkroom grey waters.
